Department: ZS Duration: 2020 - 2021 Grantor: FG
The project TIE aims at creating a strategic infrastructure for urban policy management in the field of urban mobility. This will be done by advancing the ability of cities to define, adopt, and implement policy recommendations that aim to improve mobility, based on a thorough understanding of the TIE’s components and resources, and how those components and resources interact with each other.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2019 - 2022 Grantor: MV_CR
Main goal of the project is to develop a new tool for fast and comparatively cheap inspection of bridge structures as a critical part of transport infrastructure, demanding periodic monitoring to ensure traffic safety.
Department: ZS Duration: 2019 - 2022 Grantor: FG
Arrowhead Tools is Europe's largest project for solutions in automation and digitization for the industry. The purpose of the three-year project Arrowhead Tools is to create engineering tools for the next generation of solutions in digitization and automation for the European industry.
Department: MTR Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The aim of the project is to apply the methods of polyhedral geometry to solve mathematical problems with motivation in statistics and artificial intelligence.
Department: E Duration: 2019 - 2023 Grantor: GACR
The recent availability of large digital finance datasets brings new challenges to quantitative finance. Many of the classical financial econometric or optimization models become inappropriate or intractable when applied to digital finance data.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: TACR
The aim of the VKG 3.0 project is a new system for the diagnosis of vocal disorders, consisting of a new type of multi-line video camera and data processing software.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2019 - 2020 Grantor: AV_CV
Bilateral cooperation with University of Antwerp: Separating the invisible from the visible: mixture analysis of macroscopic elemental maps of valuable paintings
Department: Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The aim of the project is to find new procedures and methods that allow the efficient synchronization and the decentralized control of complex networks, especially the elimination of some influences, for example, the time delays, quantization, change of the behavior of nodes, loss of connection, etc.
Department: Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The project deals with design of novel methods for control of large-scale and multi-agent systems in presence of nonlinearities, quantizations and time delay, with a focus on systems controlled by communication networks. A special attention is paid to systems composed of identical subsystems.
Department: MTR Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The project aims at advancing the mathematical modeling of nonlinear mechanical phenomena described by large strain deformations in three different directions.
Department: E Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The goal of this Project is to study arbitrage opportunities on limit order markets with boundedly rational agents.
Department: SI Duration: 2019 - 2021 Grantor: GACR
The project is aimed at research in the field of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), in particular, at the qualitative behaviour of solutions and optimal control thereof. Also, some related space-time systems (Brownian web) arising as a continuum limit of discrete random systems will be studied. More specifically, the following topics will be emphasized: 1.
